Easter Eggs – 2021 Collection

Hello crochet friends!

You may remember that last year, I came up with a little Easter Eggs collection that I published for free on my Instagram. I have decided to now add the patterns to my website too and to create a new egg collection for 2021. This Easter Eggs collection was inspired by nature, in particular by animals. In this pattern, you will find a basic egg pattern, as well as instructions to transform your egg into a chick, a bunny and a bee!

If you’d like an easy to read, printable PDF, you can get one for a small fee by clicking any of the links below.

Materials
• DK or 8ply yarn in light yellow and orange for the chick, grey for the bunny and yellow, black and light grey for the bee (I like to use the Ricorumi DK*)
3.5mm crochet hook*
• Stitch marker, tapestry needle and scissors
Polyfill*
• Embroidery thread for the face details (6mm safety eyes optional)

Abbreviation used (U.S. terms)
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
st: stitch
*…*: repeat
inc: 2 single crochet in the same stitch
dec: single crochet 2 stitches together through the front loop only (invisible decrease)

All pieces are worked through both loops of the stitches and in the round without joining unless stated otherwise in the pattern. It is recommended to use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round. To make it easier, you can stuff your amigurumi as you go.
