Amigurumi Showcase – Shortlisted Designs and Winner

Hello crocheters!

That’s it! The #amigurumishowcase is over, and the winner has been announced! It was such a fun contest and I loved all the beautiful designs that were released for free during this month. I hope you have enjoyed my selection so far and that you will share if you make any of them. If you decide to make my Gigi the Galah, I would love for you to share pictures with me too!

Now, let’s get into it, here are the six shortlisted designs from very talented designers (and the attached patterns).

1. Spidee. I’ve been loving all the spiders on my feed lately, and little Spidee is just too cute! I love how you can adjust all it’s legs too, it makes it super cool to play with.

3. Pear Bear. Food + animal? Again, so cute! And I just love how chubby it is!

4. Catcaron. It seems like food and animals were definitely on trend for this contest! Again, a super adorable combination.

5. Taiyaki Ice Cream. I had never heard of this type of ice-cream and now I dream even more of visiting Japan and trying a taiyaki ice-cream for myself!

FINALLY! The day to post the pattern is here! I'm so excited! I'm so proud of being part of the six finalists since all of them are so talented. This is such a big and beautiful achievement for me. I really enjoyed the process of designing the cute mushroom that is Herald🍄💕💕💕, is such a good company to have around.
