Happy year of the Dragon! I am excited to continue my Chinese zodiac animals series with this year’s animal, the mighty Dragon! The Dragon was fifth to finish the race, despite the fact that he could have won, as he was busy bringing rain to a village nearby. Dragons are passionate, creative, ambitious and of course powerful. Take Dune the Dragon for example, she is quite adept at pottery (after all, she has her own personal kiln) and she is determined to sell her ceramic mugs all over the world.

Materials
• DK or 8ply yarn in light green (<50 g), dark green (<15g), white (<10 g) and black (<5 g)
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• Stitch marker, tapestry needle and scissors
• Polyfill
• Embroidery thread (black & white) for the face details (8 mm safety eyes optional)
