Chase the Caterpillar

Hello crocheters!

With the arrival of spring in Australia, I love to have a look at all the bugs that we can find around. And of course, caterpillars are high on my list! We have some pretty cool hairy ones around (which can also be slightly creepy) but do not worry, Chase the Caterpillar is very nice and cuddly! I hope you enjoy his free pattern!

If you’d like an easy to read, printable PDF, you can get one for a small fee by clicking any of the links below.

Materials

• DK or 8ply yarn in four colours, C1, C2, C3 for head and body – C4 for legs (I like to use Ricorumi DK or Paintbox cotton DK*)
3.5 mm crochet hook*
• Stitch marker, tapestry needle and scissors
Polyfill*
• 2x 8mm safety eye (not meant for children under 3 y.o.)
