Gwen the Gourd

This PDF pattern has detailed instructions to help you make your own crochet Halloween gourd.

Halloween is one of my favourite seasons, I love the dressing up and the guilt free lolly eating, and I love decorating the house! In Australia, Halloween happens during spring, but we still have pumpkins for carving and it’s such a fun activity. I thought I’d switch things up a bit and make a gourd instead of a pumpkin. If you’re interested in unusual Halloween lantern vegetables, I also have a free pattern for a Halloween Turnip that I released last year (and there is a cool story to go with it!).
