Hello crocheters!
We are finally in November, and that means the beginning of silly season preparations! This year, it feels like we need Christmas more than ever, and that’s why I’m so excited to share with you what my plans are for the next couple of months. I will try to participate in not one, not two, but THREE crochet alongs! Wish me luck!
1. Ricorumi Christmas Crochet along – This wonderful CAL has started almost 3 weeks ago (so I am already behind!) but will be running for another 6 weeks! Make sure to download the patterns as they will be removed at the end of the CAL. If you fancy some crochet buddies, Carla from YarnArtistry (a new awesome Australian online yarn shop) has started a Facebook group just for the CAL!
2. The Holly Jolly Christmas CAL – Run on Instagram, this CAL features 19 designers who will be releasing free patterns from the 11th of November to the 20th of December. There are also prizes to be won if you make at least 12/19 of the patterns (you can check out their wonderful sponsors on their page too!).
3. Garnknuten’s Advent Calendar – I’ve just signed up for this crochet along and I cannot wait as I’ve loved the last crochet along I did with Veronica! The CAL will run from the 1st to the 22nd of December and will be making one new crochet friend! Veronica also has a Facebook group set up (not just for the crochet along but also to discuss all things crochet).
