Hello lovely crochet friends!
It has been a while since my last pattern roundup and I’ve realised I have never made one for Easter, so I thought it was time to change this! In no particular order, I’ve included 8 super cute patterns you can make for Easter, with some free and some paid patterns. I’ve put quite a few egg shaped patterns, as I love hiding those for my boys in addition to the traditional chocolate eggs. As a bonus, those don’t melt, so they won’t make a mess if Easter is on a hot day!
In Australia, we’re pretty partial to the Easter Bilby instead of the Easter bunny! Rabbits are a pest in most states, and bilbies are a perfect replacement to deliver chocolate to all the kids around Australia. I loved creating this pattern to make Bilbo, along with his little basket and eggs, and I hope you like him too!
I just love this idea! And how adorable are these the chick and bunny? I love that the pattern includes the instructions for both, and you can either reverse the chick and bunny, or give them an egg each. And because the design is quite flat, they can be carried around in little pockets, how adorable!
Those are super cute and they crochet up super fast! Great to give as a little Easter present, I’m hoping to make a few more to give to the kids in my family along with the traditional chocolates. The pattern is free on Elisa’s website.
I’m just obsessed with this hen! It looks so detailed and it’s beautiful. It also comes with its clutch of eggs, and Stella also just released a pattern for a rooster to go with it! I think it would be a great spring make to reuse every year as decoration.
How adorable are these little bunny chocolate eggs? This year, there is a challenge going around to make 1 bunny every month, and Audrey has been wonderful in creating free bunny themed patterns. I think this one is perfect for Easter, and I’m going to make some for my boys for sure!
I think that if Bilbo and Billie could meet, they would be best friends! My friend Anika has recently released this pattern and I think Billie is just adorable. The colours are soft and muted and the yarn she used is from an Australian mill, which makes this bilby perfect for any Australian Easter!
This little bunny carrot is just too cute and funny, and I love how it was customised with embroidery. It would be perfect for an easter themed playset, and great for little hands to hold!
Easter + dinosaurs? Yes please! I made those for my sons last year because they were (and still are) obsessed with dinosaurs. My eldest helped me choose which dinosaurs should be included, and you can make them in any colour! They make for great toys to hide around if you do an Easter egg hunt. I’ve also released another two collections to make fun Easter eggs, and they are all free here on my website!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this newest pattern round-up, and I keep on adding new patterns that catch my eye on my Pinterest. And because I know how annoying it is to go through 10 pages to finally get to the pattern on Pinterest, all the pins I make link directly to the pattern (either on the free pattern page or on the page where you can purchase the pattern).
I am not affiliated with any of the designers I feature and the opinions I share are my own. I am sharing content that I hope you guys will enjoy as much as I do!
